It’s a great pleasure to welcome you on behalf of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Department at Sur University College (SUC). The Postgraduate Studies department vision is to effectively emphasis on providing professional graduate education, research and consultancy

The PGS department objective is to provide an academic atmosphere suitable for the purpose of preparing specialized graduates through high quality and internationally classified postgraduate academic programs, and to guide and support the students making this atmosphere a stimulating and constructive experience that will open up for them a wide range of career opportunities in a variety of professions.

In line with Oman Vision 2020, SUC started its first Master’s Program Master of Business Administration (Human Resource Management) as a full-time program under the affiliation with University of Sunderland in UK as a franchise model, started in the spring semester AY 2015-2016. The Medium of instructions for this program is the English Language

The second Master’s program Master of Business Administration MBA (Public Administration) as a full-time program under the affiliation with Ain Shams University in Egypt as a franchise model, started in the Fall Semester 2016-2017. The medium of instruction is the Arabic language. This program is offered to support the lifelong learning of the student community. We are the first institution in Oman offers a MPA-AP in Arabic

The two Master Business Administration programs MBA (HRM) and MBA (PA) are a postgraduate degree aimed at helping participants to become capable and competent managers in a range of organizations operating within an increasingly international setting. The program is modular in design and covers all of the main areas of management within a balanced curriculum. The programs will enhance participants’ knowledge, develop their management skills and potential and provide an environment where students can learn from each other as well as from the teaching staff. It is particularly designed to develop a range of conceptual and analytical skills for dealing with a variety of practical management problems of an operational and strategic nature. These two programs shall provide specialized people which contributes to raising the efficiency and quality of the business market.
