Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completing the steps of appointment in the college according to the relevant administration regulation.
  • Processing provisionally all leaves of members of staff subject to the dean approval .
  • Processing the transfer of members of staff within the college.
  • Carrying the transfer of members of staff within the college.
  • Carrying out and observing the regulations, ordinance, policies, codes, and by-laws of the college and the administrative sanctions.
  • Issuing worksheets and employment certificates for members of staff of the college.
  • Obtaining permission for pays and allowances according to the relevant administrative regulation.
  • Issuing circulars, organizing administrative decision, ad formal casual and regular leaves .
  • Completing the necessary steps for the various types of visas road permits, labor cards for the non –Omani personnel, as well as the students sponsored by the college.
  • Keeping personal files of all members of staff that contain the hiring records and documents authenticated by the relevant authorities.
  • Interviewing the candidates for administrative jobs and report to the employment committee.
  • Coordinating between the personnel and the finance department for taking the necessary steps for accommodating newly arrived staff, and for transporting them and payroll arrangement.
  • Completing the steps of visas and labor cards and registering the Omani staff with the social insurance authorities.
  • Following up the implementation of disciplinary decisions.
  • Advertising academic and administrative jobs in national or international newspapers for staff appointment.
  • Implementing and observing the ordinances, Regulations.
