Our Vision

A warm welcome to Sur University College.

Having only been established in 2001, our motto, Preparation for the Future, portrays our commitment towards the many challenges we will face in the years ahead.  Yet our vision is simple: 

To strive towards the development of human beings and society as a whole through the enrichment of the education process by professional teaching, research and selected forms of public service   

As Chairman, I see the College one day playing a leading role in the development of modern higher education in this country.    By making the use of the latest technologies and with our teaching supported by a diverse and highly qualified Western staff, the College will be in the position to offer a wide choice of degree programs to meet the needs of the market and potential employers in Oman and abroad. 

I hope to build my vision of a College that interacts positively with the local community and builds strong partnerships with key businesses in our strive for excellence. 

Our primary goal is to serve the region of Sharqiya and the whole of Oman by performing to the highest possible standards.  Only then can we be acknowledged as one of the finest colleges in Oman.  Until that time, I am proud to welcome you to our website and to invite you to find out more about Sur University College.
