Cecile Lyon

She was born in South Africa in a small farming community. She went to the University of Stellenbosch near Cape Town, where she got her Bachelors of Education degree.

After she graduated she went to Taiwan to teach English. She lived in Taiwan for 3 years. Taiwan is also where she met her husband, Greg Lyon. They moved to New Zealand for one year where she taught in language schools and the University of Canterbury.

Next they moved to South Korea where they worked for 2 years in a language school. They moved to Oman in 2009, after they traveled through most of Asia.

She loves teaching English to people of different cultures. She teaches enthusiastically and to the best of her ability. She always aims to teach students English skills as well as life skills. She believes in an open and respectful teacher/student relationship. She also enjoys living in Oman and experiencing the culture and friendly people here.                                                                                                    more
