Mario H. Escobar’s Profile

I am an English teacher from Canada. I have worked in Oman for three and a half years, where I have taught English, first for one year at Shinas College of Technology, where I also functioned as Exam Coordiantor. For the last two and a half years at Al Musanaa College of Technology, I taught English and held the position of Reading Coordinator for the English Foundation Program. Previously I taught Spanish for 14 years at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, and did translation work for Canada Immigration and the Canada Immigration and Refugee Board.

My academic credentials include an M.A. in Linguistics, B.A. in Linguistics, and a university Diploma in English as a Second Language; all from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
