Mission

       To produce Information Technology professionals with good  academic and practical skills that fully support the needs of modern technologies and practices to update the business infrastructure, supported by the development of necessary personal skills to communicate effectively at all levels in the ongoing evolution of business.

 

Goals

The general objective and goal of the department of Information System & Technology is:

1.  To produce Information Technology professionals with good academic and practical skills that fully supports the needs of modern technologies and practices to update the business infrastructure.

 2.  To support the students to develop the necessary personal skills to communicate effectively at all levels in the ongoing evolution of business.

 3.  To extend, enhance and improve the judgment of the student in decision making by extension of analytical, imaginative and intellectual skills.

 

Aims

1.  To enable students to acquire knowledge and proficiency in mathematics, accounting principles and fundamentals of computers in the first year and advanced topic from  the second year of the diploma/degree programm onwards.

 2.  To enable students to acquire good IT skills in selected state of the art high level languages and packages.

 3.  To develop student’s ability to select and use appropriate problem solving methodologies through case and project studies.

 4.     To develop the students ability to communicate effectively with peers, superiors and sub-ordinates
