Computer and Multi-Media Language
Labs
Sur University College has 4 open access
computer labs with 124 computers. Students have access to email
and internet and may use the computing facilities to work on class
projects.
Computer classes feature in the
curriculum of the Foundation and Award Programs.
The College also has 1 modern Multi-Media
Language Lab that is suitable for Computer Assisted Language learning
(CALL) and has overhead projectors, video play-back and
sound equipment.
Students use the latest English learning
CD ROMS designed for Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). CALL
offers students the opportunity to:

Work at their own pace, either in pairs
or individually

Take part in motivating and challenging
activities

Gain computer skills
All students may use these facilities to
work on class projects.
A range of CALL programs are also
available in the Independent Learning Center in the library for
individual study. These include the latest English language learning
programs.
